Yuri sighed as she padded along. The death of her sister, Misora, was still heavily weighing on her shoulders. A single tear went down her cheek as she thought about her. She blinked a couple of times before realizing that she needed to get herself together. She inhaled deeply then exhaled. Yuri walked up to the territory border and howled, letting the Alpha know she was here. Yuri was tired and wanted to start a new life and she thought that this would be a perfect place to have her new life begin. Excitement soon took over her somberness. Her tail gently started to swish side to side as she waited patiently for a pack member to greet her.

Sersei traveled the borders that day, her pale white fur glistening in the warm spring sun. The jewel necklace that adorned her nape caught the light in certain ways, and the she-wolf glanced down at it quietly in thought as she remembered her fallen parents. She did not have time to dwell on this though, as a howl soon echoed across the lands.
Holding back a small smile, the ivory Alpha was quick on her paws, nimble in pace as she caught view of the other. The stranger was white, though most striking were the lavender eyes. Giving a nod as she loped up, Sersei lifted herself in dominance, her pale, icy eyes moving over the stranger expectantly. "You are at the borders of the Wild Spirit pack. What is it you seek?"

The creamy colored femme waited patiently for someone to respond to her howl. Her tail gently swaying side to side. An unfamiliar scent filled the air, and it was getting stronger and stronger. She inhaled deeply then exhaled. Her tail started to wag slightly faster and her ears were perked up and alert. Yuri was excited, to say the least. She looked around, scanning the horizon. She noticed something in the distance.
A silhouette of a wolf appeared in her vision and the wolf was coming closer and closer. There was a polite and friendly smile across her muzzle as the wolf came closer. Once the unknown femme was right in front of her, Yuri dipped her head in respect then lifted her head back up. She was slightly smaller than this femme. From the femme's stance, it was obvious that she was the Alphess. Yuri's stance slightly changed, from confident to submissive. She lowered herself slightly, to show to Sersei that she was no threat and that she was submitting to her. "Hello, I'm Utsukushii Yuri." Her voice was very light and friendly. "I was hoping that you would accept me into your pack. I have been wondering, alone for sometime and I'm looking for a new place to call home." Yuri's lavender eyes looked up at the femme, back down at her paws, then looking at Sersei.

The submission was noted by Sersei, who in acknowledgement, gave the unknown fae a nod of her muzzle to reveal that she could relax. Her tail gave an idle flick, the ivory of her pelt shifting as a breeze swept past the two femmes. "Welcome, Utsukushii Yuri," she offered, hoping she had pronounced the name properly. Her tone was gentle and wispy, perhaps highlighting her nature of kindness.. and yet she knew others doubted her ability to lead this pack to glory. She would prove them wrong. "How would you benefit our ranks?"

Yuri's eyes were on the Alphess. There was a light breeze that swept her pelt, it felt really good to Yuri. Her name, was Japanese and it meant beautiful lily. Although, Yuri knew it was hard for others to pronounce correctly. So, she just went with Yuri. She preferred Yuri over her full name when she was addressed. Her ears, perked up and alert, caught every word that the Alphess spoke.
Once Sersei was finished speaking. Yuri started to talk. "If it is easier, you can call me Yuri. I would actually prefer that." She said, softly with a small friendly smile. Yuri was trained as a Beta, so being the Beta female would be a rank that she could excel in. She was a strong huntress, a fairly good healer, and a mediocre fighter. In truth, her combat skills could use some more work. Her voice had more confidence in it, but was not arrogant. "If the spot is not taken, I would like Beta Female. I was born into that role and was trained to be the Beta Female in my old pack." She paused. "I know what it takes to be a Beta Female. I can prove it to you, if you wish. I'm an excellent hunter and I believe that I could do a lot to strengthen this pack." Yuri said with reassurance.
